High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a condition experienced by many individuals across the globe. Early stages of high blood pressure show no symptoms but with time, one may experience dizzy spells and dizziness in the head, severe headaches and nosebleeds. Although these symptoms are associated with many other conditions, it is always good to have your blood pressure checked should you be suspicious that you may be suffering from this condition. Treating high blood pressure may be a necessity if you have family members who suffer from this condition, as it is hereditary. High blood pressure is not alone caused by an individual’s lifestyle; it is also caused because of other conditions. Many people who have suffered from kidney disease, thyroid disease and hormonal disorders may develop high blood pressure, the same applies to people who use certain drugs (for example, oral contraceptives etc) and various herbs. Treating high blood pressure is possible with the correct lifestyle and medications; many people who suffer from this condition live healthy and normal, as every other individual. When suffering from this condition, one should have you blood pressure checked regularly to ensure that it is remaining stable and thus, ensuring that you remain as healthy as can be.
